The Zeeuws Museum works closely with schools. We now have intensive partnerships with several primary and secondary schools. These schools excel in the fields of art, culture and heritage.

Primary education

Het Zeeuws Museum has a loan collection of museum objects that it takes to primary schools as part of the project ‘ZM in the School’. The objects form the basis of an ongoing educational trajectory for primary education. The project has been fully implemented at ABS Middelburg.

Secondary education

In recent years we have worked on a programme for the vocational art classes at De Rede, a secondary school in Terneuzen. Each year the pupils visit the Zeeuws Museum in connection with a project related to the permanent collection or a temporary exhibition.
