The six famous tapestries tell the story of the Zeelanders’ struggle against the Spaniards in the Eighty Years’ War. This unique series was commissioned by the States of Zeeland between 1593 and 1604. Each tapestry is rich in detail and teeming with stories. Upon request this guided tour can be extended to include the adjacent history galleries.
