ANBI stands for Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (Public Benefit Institution). Here you will find information about the missions of both institutions and how they are organised.

mission
The foundation aims to preserve, expand and provide access to Zeeland’s cultural heritage. By working continuously with artists and designers to create new frameworks for the collection, the foundation serves a broad public while contributing to the creation of tomorrow’s heritage.
The Zeeuws Museum is led by its director, Marjan Ruiter, under the supervision of the Board of Trustees. For its employees, the foundation has the same legal status and remuneration policy as the Province of Zeeland. The Board of Trustees is unpaid.

mission
The Friends of the Zeeuws Museum Foundation was established by notarial act on 2 February 1994 with the following aims:
To offer support, in the broadest sense of the word, to the Zeeuws Museum. This includes:
- promoting voluntary work
- facilitating publications
- organising (study) gatherings
- advising the museum
- assisting in fundraising and acquiring objects that fit within the museum’s acquisitions policy
- The foundation is run by volunteers.
