Over the past three years, the Zeeuws Museum, with the support of RaadSaam Erfgoedprojecten, has worked on realizing an appreciation of the collection. As a result of this collection valuation, the recruitment policy will be tightened up and a rejection policy will be formulated. The valuation provides insight and guidance, casts a critical view on the collection, is useful for recording procedures, ensures better coordination with other institutions, helps to convince subsidizing authorities/lenders and helps to substantiate actions and decisions.
